Devellio was born from a conversation between two cousins who shared a passion for innovation and a frustration with existing digital photo frames. One cousin, a Navy veteran who had served his country with honor before transitioning into engineering, brought years of experience working with mission-critical systems where efficiency and reliability weren't just nice-to-have features—they were essential.

During family gatherings, they watched relatives struggle with digital frames that constantly needed charging, had poor image quality, or required complex setup procedures. The Navy veteran, drawing from his experience with low-power military communications equipment, suggested they could do better. His cousin, equally passionate about creating products that bring families together, agreed.
